Welcome to IIE Southern Regional Center

The Institute of International Education is committed to the proposition that peace and prosperity in the 21st century depend on increasing the capacity of people to think and work globally. In pursuit of this goal, since its founding in 1952, IIE's Southern Regional Center has been promoting international understanding through educational and professional exchanges by presenting Houston's cultural diversity and economic strengths to current and future world leaders and by creating opportunities for Houstonians to serve as citizen ambassadors.
