CULTURAL NAVIGATORS TRUNK PROGRAM
A Houston-based program, the Cultural Navigators Trunk Program is designed to promote student-centered learning. Teachers check out trunks from different countries and develop assignments/activities that actively involve students in the learning process creating "cultural navigators" in their classrooms.

K-12 TEACHER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
Periodically, the IIE Southern Regional Center will conduct teacher development workshops, topics range from Islam and the Arab World to Best Practices in Bi-lingual Education.
EDUCATORS TO SAUDI ARABIA PROGRAM
Sponsored by Aramco Services Company, the Educators to Saudi Arabia Program aims to cultivate a greater awareness and understanding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in U.S. primary and secondary schools and communities. Additionally, the Educators to Saudi Arabia Program seeks to encourage educators to establish creative means of sharing this understanding with their students, colleagues, and communities.

JAPAN FULBRIGHT MEMORIAL FUND TEACHER PROGRAM
The Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund (JFMF) Teacher Program, sponsored by the Government of Japan. This program is designed to provide American primary and secondary school teachers and administrators with opportunities for fully-funded short-term study programs in Japan. Its aim is to increase understanding of Japan among a crucial group of Americans who will be helping to shape and educate the next generation of leaders in the United States.

TOYOTA INTERNATIONAL TEACHER PROGRAM
Sponsored by the Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc., the Toyota International Teacher Program provides American secondary school teachers who are committed to cross-cultural teaching with a career development opportunity to examine global issues related to industry and society between the U.S. and other countries.

KOREAN STUDIES WORKSHOPS FOR AMERICAN EDUCATORS
The Korean Studies Workshop for American Educators will provide U.S. educators with fully-funded study visits to Korea. In 2007, the Korean Studies Workshop will send up to 100 secondary school educators from the United States to Korea for a 12-day workshop. Sponsored entirely by the Korea Foundation, the workshop is designed to enhance mutual understanding between the people of Korea and the United States by inviting certain U.S. educators to visit Korea and then share their experiences with fellow Americans upon their return.
